Each year Benefit Geelong provides grants/sponsorship of up to $15,000 to charitable or not-for-profit organisations/clubs and community groups that are based in Greater Geelong and the region. Projects should show clear contributions to strengthening social capital, community welfare, the environment, health, education and/or culture.

Grant assessments will be presented for consideration to the Benefit Geelong committee twice a year at the April and November Committee meetings. Members of the Grant subcommittee can approve emergency funding up to the amount of $5,000 per annum. Details of the recipient(s) of Benefit Geelong Emergency Relief Fund will be kept confidential.

Community groups who have received a Benefit Geelong grant in the past two years are ineligible.
