KYD run camps and conferences to impact a generation. They have seen time and time again the positive impact and life changing moments that young people encounter while at camp.

In 2023, KYD are multiplying the camp to create greater capacity. Over a one-week period, KYD will expand attendance to 130 in total with Junio High students (Year 7 – 9) Monday to Wednesday and then a swap over to Senior High (Year 10 – 12) Wednesday to Friday.

Kardinia Community Services was successful as a Benefit Geelong grant recipient to financially assist 50 young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to attend camp.

Money from this grant will supplement 75% of the full fees (accommodation, food and transport) for 50 young people. All other activities of the camp are donated or in-kind support.
